Homely Honey | Vintage 1980s-does-1950s convertible jumper dress

We have searched long and hard for vintage pieces like this and are stoked to have found this one! 

A convertible jumper dress/skirt! The top piece is detachable at the waist (buttons!). 

Only catch - there is some discolouration/color-run which we didn't see under the low lighting when we snagged this, but it's still such a gem not to share. It is visible close-up, though not much from afar and is sort of like a tie-dye effect. Still a fabulous piece with her huge pockets and bright, happy blue color! 

Priced down accordingly. 

Measurements:
All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat.

Bust: 14in (measured flat across, though of course it doesn't reflect the real bust-size as it is a jumper/overall) 

Waist: Up to 14in (Fixed waist. Zip and buttons up at the back.)

Hips: Free

Top Length: 16in (we refer to the detachable top piece in this measurement)

Skirt Length: 28.5in (the skirt only. So the total length will be 28.5 + 16in = 44.5in) 

Material: 100% cotton
Origin: U.S.A. 
Tag: The Brass Plum at nordstrom. 
Lining:  Unlined.
Transparency:  Seems opaque but as with most vintage garments, a slip will help to keep things decent ;)
Condition: Good. Has some color-run/discoloration (please see the last 3 photos).
