Vintage 60s 70s leather tooled tote bag butterfly flower power hippie boho style

We remember distinctly searching for these sort of leather tooled bags on eBay in the late 90s, and even then they were expensive and difficult to get our hands on. 

So you may understand our excitement when we found not 1 but 2 generous-sized tote bags.

They’re lightweight so the leather is not super thick and heavy, but they can still carry a considerable amount. We tried putting a book, water bottle, umbrella, book, wallet, phone charger and some miscellaneous items in there and they fit and carried well.

One of our favourite features about this is the generous textured tooling and the gold dowels at the handles.

All the whipstitches are still intact and there are  2 zippered compartments, one inside and one outside! 

Carry a bit of history with you! (Can be carried on the shoulder, the drop of the handles is quite comfortable).
