A muted colour palette can work wonders sometimes. Perfect for slipping something shiny on (like a brooch - we have plenty of really cool or cute ones in our accessories section of the shop) and letting it well.... shine. 

Also great if you're going to experiment with your makeup or have new shoes to show off. 

This vintage 1950s/60s checkered gingham shirt-dress is great for work days and off days ;)
