The story:
I swear my aunt passed me her 1960s evening party gown which was the splitting image of this dress here (except longer)!
The material is an interesting almost like a shark-skin kind of sheen, in a dusky pomegranate red which is great for the upcoming festive spring festival and has such intricate beaded smocking which we just don't see on the fast-fashion of today.
We imagine this dress was made for the party animal of the day! ;)

Condition: Very good considering its age and it is so lovingly handmade. Has a couple of snags in the fabric but it seems like it came with the fabric production (see the last photo).
