Mahagony woven Boston bag

This silhouette is hitting us in a strangely nostalgic spot. It reminds us a little of our dad’s briefcase in the 80s and also our mom’s handbag in the same era. 

It’s the perfect fit of practicality and fun; of detail and liberty; of seriousness and flirtiness.

The almost-a-Boston bag silhouette combined with the slimness of the top half of the bag makes it a great company for those into a vintage look. It actually goes great with both smart office casual and also loose-for denim bottom and a snazzy vest top and boat hat.

Conditions: Hardware has a bit of age (though I have cleaned and polished what I can with brasso) and the leather has also been conditioned with care! There are the usual sighs of age as per all vintage goods (minor scuffs and age-wear)  but it certainly doesn’t take away from the beauty of the weave.
