The story:
Ok, so the story goes.... I bought this for myself, had it altered smaller, kept it forever in the wardrobe and now it no longer fits me!
It's been hemmed up and taken in at the waists so now it fits a little more like a S - M than an M - L.
But it's still great! There are just a few snags, fabric pulls here and there which is not really visible or detract from the amazing print (which was the reason I bought it! Aside from the beautiful sailor-inspired collar). Price adjusted to reflect this, though all the effort and moolah put into the alteration probably cost as much as the dress!
Pinned?: No. But it was belted to show how it looks when worn with one.

All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat.

Alternatively, you can take a piece of your own clothing, lay it flat, measure it and make a comparison.
