The story:
We like the weight and drape of this dress and the fabric. The print has YSL printed on it in a cream beige and also as a embossed satin print throughout the fabric,but no brand tag, so we can't say for sure it's the real thing, but it might have been a production piece which was not from the stores.
In any case, we just like how simple the silhouette is and how it hangs on the body. Simple, black and ready to hit the streets in a jiffy! : )
There's a cowl-neck drape in front with tucks at both shoulders.

Material: Not stated but likely a polyester mix. Very good weight and feels solid to the touch. Seems very different from the way other linings/fabrics were attached on garments from the same era.

Transparency: Seems opaque but as with vintage dresses, a slip will always help to keep things decent ;)
