The story:

We were drawn to the butterflies well, like butterflies to flowers! 

This must be one of those signature dresses for the infamous tea parties of the 60s or 70s. We love how nostalgic the velour and lace flower brooch is :D We can remove it for you if you like, or you could give it a run for its money and then just unpick it (it's sewn on) when you're done with it. Without the brooch, we feel it'll be a great weekend date dress. 

The selective spots of color amidst the dark line drawings allows it to breathe, no crowding, just a sense of space. 

There are a row of buttons down the back, up to the waist. And if you look closely, there are transclucent vertical stripes running straight up and down the dress. This comes with shoulder pads, do drop us a note on checkout if you'd like us to remove those for you.
