Cobalt Shot of Blue | Vintage 1960s 1970s ribbed and knife pleat Button down Tulip print Dress
We seldom see a ribbed and rayon mixed texture dress (though the ribbed ones were so popular in the 60s/70s!) and this one in its saturated royal blue and little flocked florals is such a rare beauty!
The cobalt+light blue combination is light yet grounded at the same time. And the ribbed fabric is so deep and dark and fits most body types because of its stretch.
And it's a complete button-down dress too :) ALL the way from neck to hem!
Pinned?:
No. But it was belted to show how it looks when worn with one.

Hips: Free
Top Length: 14in
Total Length: 40in.

Origin: Japan
Tag: Liciene. Tokyo. Size 13.
Lining: Top unlined. Bottom lined.
Transparency: Seems opaque but as with most vintage garments, a slip will help to keep things decent ;)
Condition: Very good. First button at the neck was missing but we have replaced it with another gold button, though not exactly the same as the others. But it does provide a little twinkly interest (that is if you even button it all the way up in the first place ;) Please refer to the last photo for the detailed shot.
