Always look closely at a vintage garment. They hold so much history, quite possibly a few secrets and so many fine details.
Take this cheongsam-inspired vintage 1960s/70s dress for example. The traditional ethnic print is simply amazing when you look closely. All done on such a delicate fabric that gives it a sense of lightness despite the busy prints. Add little details like a cheongsam collar and black frog buttons, quite the wise move to add just that little hint of ethnicity.
