This vintage 1980s popover dress with its blazer neckline and loose-fitting style would be great with chunky tennis shoes and high socks.
There are no buttons in the front bust area so it might be more convenient to wear a bralet or tank top inside. Or you could also put in a snap button or a brooch.
Has shoulder pads but could be removed as desired.
No pockets.
