Red Cardinal | Vintage 1970s houndstooth and checkered Black Red Pleated dress

The story:

We seldom gravitate towards a red/black combination. But this is so great for Christmas…or the upcoming Lunar New Year! Loving the houndstooth, checkered prints and the overall black zig-zag blocks. 

It makes wearing red less scary and glaring. The diagonal color blocks in stripes/checks gives it weight and the pleated skirt floats so effortlessly too. Perfect for work, a date, meeting the future-in-laws or a night out with the girls.
