The story:

100% cotton items are not easy to come by, and when they come in a lovely silhouette and an versatile colour and style, we would love to keep it, alas sadly it doesn't fit! 

But this 1990s British India size 5 maxi skirt with a nubbly textured white yarn-like pattern across the front and back, it looks more expensive and elegant than how cotton usually does. 

With a slight mermaid silhouette and flare at the hem, it is a little reminiscent of the 1920s.

No. But it was belted to show how it looks when worn with one.
