Spring in your steps | Vintage 1950s Floral Carnation print Halter Dress with red piping
This dress has such a cute halter silhouette! Loving how it cuts in at the shoulders and yet has a neat little collar that is just that little bit erhem sexy. ;)
The red piping on this little beauty is really well-done. It somehow ties the fun pink carnation (how often do you get that? ;) print together. And the pink floral buttons are in such good condition and compliments the dress so well!
No, but it was belted to show how it looks when worn with one.
All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat.
Please DOUBLE the measurements provided to get the approximate circumference measurements.
Alternatively, you can take a piece of your own clothing, lay it flat, measure it and make a comparison.
Approx. Size: S - M
Shoulders: Free as it is a halter/cut-in style.
Bust: Up to 18in
Waist: Up to 13in (Fixed waist. We wouldn't recommended wearing it too tight. Just body-skimming would be fabulous. Has belt loops so you can cinch it even tighter if you need to.)
Top Length: 16in
Total Length: 39in
Armhole: Approx 9.5in
Material: Not stated but seems like a cotton mix.
Tag: None. Could be home-made!
Transparency: Seems opaque, but as with most vintage garments, a slip will help to keep things decent ;)
Condition: Very good. 1st button is missing. But we can shift the last button on the skirt up for you if you like! Just leave us a note when you checkout ;) A couple of seams at the darts at the waist are a little weaker but can be easily reinforced or as long as you don't stretch them too much, no issues there. Doesn't affect how it wears at all!
