Bernadette | Vintage 1980s loose-fit Blue sleeveless Long dress with Box lace cutouts
We like lace, but we think simple ones look best on us (and secretly envy all those who can wear those lovely floral and intricate laced frocks). And we like us a good blue dress too, preferably long so we don't really have to care if we cross our legs just-so. ;)
So this comfy, loose-fit vintage 1980s number with her little strips of white lace at just the right places speaks to the feminine tom-boy in us.
We want to say this is a maxi, but it really depends on how tall you are. Thus, please do take to the good 'ol tape measure if you're particular about where the hem hits ;)
The elastic is very loose, so we'd say wear it like a low-waist/dropped waist dress. It's more comfy that way (just our opinion ;)
Pinned?: No.

Approx. Size: L - XL
Shoulders: 17.5in
Bust: Up to 21in
Waist: 20 - 22in (Elastic waist. No side belt loops. Very loose at the waist. You could perhaps have a seamstress enhance the elasticity if you prefer it tighter or use a belt <Hey, we think a brown woven vintage one might actually look very nice with this!>)
Hips: Up to 34in
Top Length: 20in
Total Length: 50in
Armhole: 8in
Material: Not stated but seems like a cotton mix.
Origin: USA
Tag: None
Lining: Entirely lined
Transparency: Seems opaque, but as with most vintage garments, appropriate inner wear will help to keep things decent ;)
Condition: Very good. Only the elasticity of the waist is shot (though we prefer it this way :D)
