All sales are considered final and goods sold are not refundable and exchangeable unless an item has been grossly misrepresented. 

Conditions Guide

Our items are vintage, thrift-ed and pre-loved, some have been loved a lot more than others and in different ways, so they do come as they are. Most items have been worn, but occasionally we do get some in absolute mint conditions, and some new old-stock. We will always check and describe the item to the best of our ability and please do always check the product description for any possible flaws mentioned. Most common conditions are missing buttons, slight signs of wear or staining at the insides of the collar, bottom or armpit areas. Some may have been repaired by their previous owners. But rest assured, we will never sell anything which we will not want to wear ourselves (in fact we often wish we could keep them all!) 

All our items go by the following rating system

Mint - These are usually new old-stock which have never been worn. 

Excellent - Pre-loved but with no visible flaws. 

Very Good - Minor flaws, almost not visible. 

Good - Minor flaws, some visible. 

Fair - More than 2 flaws, some of which could be repaired. 

Tags

Should there be any tags, we will reflect this in our product description. But do understand that many vintage items were handmade thus they come without tags, or have had their tags taken off by their previous owners for various reasons (some were apparently placed at the strangest places which did not facilitate comfort for the wearer)! But we particularly love these handmade items, you can truly see the workmanship of the past and how delicate stitches were and how much care was put into it. 

Photo representation

As different monitors will display colors different, please note that the colours shown on your screen may vary from the actual colour of the garment. However, our photos will try to reflect as exact a representation of the item as possible. Should there be any gross misrepresentation, please feel free to contact us at ask@happylaundryday.com.

Measurements Chart 

All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat. Please double the number provided to get the approximate circumference measurements. Alternatively, you can take a piece of your own clothing, lay it flat, measure it and make a comparison. 

Some of our items have been pinned on the dress form to provide a suggested styling idea. This will be mentioned in the product description and if possible, photos of the item in its natural state/shape will be provided as well. 

Shipping & Delivery 

Our shipping days are Mondays and Thursdays. 

We recommend that our packages are via registered mail. With this method, a tracking number will be provided when we ship your items and you will be able to track the item. Should you require additional insurance, please do let us know beforehand and we can advise or provide alternative shipping options. 

Should you prefer the normal mail option, please do understand that the risk of lost packages/mail will be borne solely by you, the buyer.

Should you have any queries regarding which shipping option to select, or have mistakenly selected the wrong shipping options, please email us for clarification and rectification. 

We always refund shipping overages/excess over SGD$3. 

Local delivery within Singapore will take between 2-4 working days. 

International delivery usually takes between 8 - 16 days depending on the region and customs clearance. 

We always recommend registered mail as both the seller and buyer will be able to keep track of the package. Please do note that with the Normal mail option, we cannot be responsible for any postal slip-ups.  

Happy Laundry Day is not responsible for items once they have been shipped. Any issues with loss of items will have to be reported to the relevant transportation and postal authorities.

Payment 

All purchases made at Happy Laundry Day can be paid using a Paypal account or using a credit/debit card via Paypal. 

For Singaporean/Singapore-based customers who wish to make payment via direct bank transfer/ATM transfer, please do email us before proceeding with your transfer. Should you wish to select this payment method, please do understand that there is a risk that the item may be purchased between the time your email is sent and the time we process your request. Upon receipt of your email and confirmation of the item availability, we will reserve the item for up to 24 hours and send you an email requesting the bank transfer to be made. After the 24-hour reservation period, the item will be released for purchase in the store.
